Molly Thelisdort, ND, LAc

Hi, I'm Molly Thelisdort (THEL-lys-door), a licensed naturopathic physician (N.D.) and acupuncturist (L.Ac.), licensed in the state of Oregon. I specialize in integrative, holistic healthcare for people who are looking for more answers to their health and are ready to start feeling better now.
After years of general practice, I have found that many people are sick and tired of the conventional 15–20-minute visit model, and are looking for more ways to take control of their own health.
As a mom of 2 young girls, I understand firsthand the complexities of parenthood and all things fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I have navigated the challenges that come along with making space for self-care while also being present and showing up for your kids and family as best as you can. I am passionate about working with moms and families to help create a healthier lifestyle and foundation that takes the parent’s health needs into consideration first and foremost.
What This Means For You

Foremost, I dive deep into the root cause of symptoms and illness and use therapeutics that are safe, research-driven and effective at naturally bringing the body back into balance.
By combining the best of modern and traditional medicine, I am here as a resource to help navigate which interventions are right for you and how to implement a wellness regimen that aligns most with your lifestyle, values and beliefs.
Whether you’re looking to gain more energy, improve your mental health, reduce digestive symptoms, improve skin, prepare for fertility and pregnancy, or simply want to lead a healthier lifestyle, I am here to help guide and coach you the entire way through.

How I Got Here

I grew up fascinated by natural medicine after experiencing my own health issues in high school that did not respond to conventional treatment. After attending university and looking at career paths with a biology major, I realized how much was missing from conventional medical school and practice, especially with regard to nutrition, holistic health and preventative care.
I learned about naturopathic medicine while studying in France and seeing different natural therapeutics used in pharmacies and health clinics across Europe.
During my last year at Indiana University, I applied to National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon for a 6-year doctorate and master’s program studying naturopathic medicine and acupuncture.
I practiced primary care in Oregon for 5 years before deciding to move closer to family in Tampa, Florida where I currently live and practice remotely. I continue to offer telehealth services for patients in Oregon and offer consultation-only services to clients outside of Oregon.
